For my test, I used this machine for a knee brace. The agitator works like that of a full-sized washing machine where it cycles through a back-and-forth motion at a fairly high speed. That said, if the piece of clothing isn’t positioned just right above the agitator it will get caught on the sides and not spin.

The agitator does send water flowing upward and creates a whirl pool around the item being washed so there is some push of water through, and around it.

There are 3 timer settings, 3, 5, & 8 minutes. I used an 8-minute setting to complete one wash cycle, dumped the used water, then another 8 minutes for a rinsing cycle with new water.

You can use regular liquid detergent in this machine; just be sure it’s in small quantities that can easily be diluted by the corresponding amount of water. The instructions are clear that for better disinfection, use a salt solution with water only (not mixing anything else).

Once the cycle was completed the water was incredibly murky, which shows that the machine cleaned out a good bit of residue imbedded within my knee brace.

There is a front window for viewing and a blue light on the front that illuminates the machine as it cycles, which is a neat little bonus.

To clean the machine, I carefully rinsed inside the drum using my sink faucet. The entire unit is not submersible, and the front control panel should remain dry, so keep in mind when cleaning out the inside drum.

Now for the issue: Noise. Once cranked up, the machine creates a loud, high pitched, whirring noise as the agitator cycles back and forth. It is recommended to place this machine in a separate room while running a wash cycle to avoid the noise.

I plan on using this machine to wash small delicate pieces of clothing such as my knee pad (which recommends hand washing instead) and compression shin guards as well. Due to the noise, and its extremely compact nature, which greatly limits capacity, I give this 3.5 stars – rounding up to 4 only because I’m able to use it for niche items.

The fact that it requires no installation is its best feature. I just plug it into a USB-C power source, add a little water and soap, and it’s ready to go. It’s incredibly lightweight and compact, making it perfect for apartment living, dorms, or even taking along on camping trips.

I primarily use this for my underwear and It’s so much gentler than a standard agitator machine, so I don’t have to worry about my delicates getting stretched out or damaged. It’s also a huge time-saver for those I need this one item clean right now moments.

The different modes are actually useful. I use the lighter cycle for quick refreshes and the more intense cycle for items that need a bit more agitation. It’s surprisingly effective at removing light stains and odors.

It runs very quietly. I can have it sitting on my bathroom counter while I’m doing other things, and it’s barely noticeable.

This is definitely for small items only. Don't expect to wash a pair of jeans or a heavy sweater in it. It’s a specialized tool for small, frequent loads. Also, since it’s USB-C powered, make sure you’re using a decent power adapter to get the best performance out of the motor.

This little machine has saved me so much time and water. It’s well-built, easy to clean, and does exactly what it claims to do. It’s a must-have for anyone who wants to keep their delicates separate or needs a quick, portable solution for small laundry items.

So easy to use! Just plug it in, add one or two small items, water, and one scoop of dry detergent is PLENTY. (I know this because the first time I used three scoops and it took way too long to rinse them of soap.) The agitation is very effective, I couldn't believe how dirty the water got! I was surprised how well it worked.

You don't get the convenience of an automatic rinse cycle that drains away the water like a full size machine. That'll be your job; simply pouring out the old water and putting in new.

The compact size is so convenient and practical. It will easily store under the sink or in a cabinet when not needed.

It does make noise, but I can't hear it when I'm not in the room, so it isn't too loud for the office. I think it would be a convenient way to handle delicates like bras or bikinis, but this has turned out to be the perfect solution for my small office break area laundry needs. The cloths can hang to dry over the sink and are fresh every day.

I bet it would also work well for doll clothes, small dog sweaters, and the cloth covers for my CPAP mask straps.

You can pick the cycle time easily. The power button is very responsive.

Overall, I am happily surprised by how helpful this mini washer can be. I think that comparing my time spent taking these few items back and forth from home to work to simply washing them while at work makes this price a great value in just a few loads.

It’s very easy to operate, and the included instructions are simple to follow. There are three different wash modes/timer settings to choose from depending on what you’re washing. Despite its small size, it works well for the small items I purchased it for.

The machine itself feels sturdy, durable, and well made. I also really like that it’s rechargeable, so there’s no need to keep it plugged in while using it. It holds a charge for a good amount of time before needing to be recharged, which makes it even more convenient and portable.

Overall, I’m very happy with this mini washing machine. It’s compact, easy to use, and perfect for washing small items like makeup sponges and washcloths without having to use the regular washing machine. Definitely a handy little machine to have!
